Official BookCrossing Zones

An Official BookCrossing Zone (OBCZ) is a centralised location for the exchange of BookCrossing registered books. An OBCZ can be a bookshelf, box, windowsill or any other place that books can be stored and accessed. The zone can be housed in any suitable location, although popular choices are pubs and coffee shops. OBCZs are run (with the permission of the location owner) by BookCrossing members who make a commitment to keep the zone stocked with books at all times.

For those of you who aim to sample every OBCZ when visiting a new area, here is all of the information you will need to help you do exactly that in Colchester. There is a wide selection of OBCZs in and around the town and details of each of these can be found below:

CO1 Café
